A Relaxed Night Under the Stars

We pick you up at your accommodation and take you to 2–3 strategic viewpoints in Serra da Estrela where, far from any light, we contemplate the sky with the naked eye while the guide shares stories about the constellations, visible planets and the Milky Way. No equipment, no fuss — just sky, mountain and a homemade snack. Perfect for those who want to enjoy the night sky in total comfort.

What you'll experience:

1. Pick-up at your accommodation in Serra da Estrela
2. Drive to the 1st viewpoint with stargazing starting at dusk
3. Move to 1 or 2 other strategic spots with a homemade snack under the stars
4. Comfortable return to your accommodation

• Transport from your accommodation (Serra da Estrela)
• Guide who leads the observation and shares knowledge about constellations

• Telescope (this is a naked-eye experience)

• Warm clothing (we recommend you bring your own)

What to bring:

• Warm clothing in layers (even in summer the mountain gets very cold at night)
• Windproof jacket, hat and gloves in winter
• Comfortable closed shoes
• Personal flashlight optional (red light preferred)
