the valley by land and by water
The Douro from two angles in one afternoon. First, three hours by jeep through the Douro Superior, the wildest and least visited part of the valley: tracks between almond and olive groves, schist villages and viewpoints over the river's bends, with a local guide at the wheel. At the end of the day we board in Pinhão for an hour on the river as the sun sets behind the terraces, with a drink on board.

What time does it start?
About 4 hours before sunset, so we reach the boat in Pinhão in time. The time changes through the year; we confirm it after booking.
What is the minimum group size?
2 people, at €90 per person.
How much do I save?
Booked separately it would cost €100 per person (€80 for the Douro Superior 4x4 and €20 for the sunset boat). The package is €90.
Is the boat private?
No, the sunset boat trip is shared with other passengers. If you would like the boat just for your group, talk to us.
How do I book and pay?
Book through the online form or on WhatsApp. On the website you can pay straight away by card, MB WAY or Multibanco (30% deposit or the full amount), or just send the request and pay once we confirm. We reply within 1 hour.
What is the cancellation policy?
Free cancellation up to 48h before the activity, with full refund. Within 48h, the date can be changed subject to availability.
