Day 1
The first day begins in one of the most authentic areas of the Gerês mountains, where nature completely dominates the landscape. From the very first kilometres we enter mountain trails surrounded by dense vegetation, crystal-clear rivers and small waterfalls hidden among the rocks.
We walk along ancient paths used for generations by local communities, crossing green valleys and areas where human presence has almost disappeared. This is a day to truly feel the atmosphere of Peneda-Gerês National Park, discover lesser-known corners and appreciate the silence of the mountain.
By late afternoon we arrive at our accommodation, where we'll have time to relax after the day's effort. Dinner will be the perfect moment to share trail stories and prepare for the adventure still to come.
Day 2
The second day takes us to a higher and wilder part of the mountain. As the trail climbs, the landscape changes completely: the forests give way to open terrain, granite rock and sweeping views over valleys and mountains that seem to stretch endlessly.
This will be the most demanding day of the expedition, but also the one that brings the greatest sense of achievement. The route pushes the group and naturally creates a strong spirit of mutual support among everyone.
When we finally reach the highest points of the serra, we realise that every bit of effort was worth it. It's in these moments that the best memories are born and each participant takes home a true mountain story to tell.

We did a two-day trek. Incredible landscapes. A very committed and friendly guide. A beautiful, demanding route, especially Loriga up to the top of the range. Excellent value for money. I'd do it all again.
Today we did a four-hour 4x4 tour of Serra da Estrela and it was simply wonderful. Sérgio was a flawless guide — knowledgeable, calm, and with that respect for the mountain that only someone who truly feels it can pass on. He took us along tracks that tell old stories and made us feel we were discovering it all for the first time.
The tour was perfect! We got to see Serra da Estrela through places that are beautiful and well off the usual route. Sérgio really cares about giving guests a different experience, and he looks after everyone's wellbeing and safety. Our family highly recommends this activity!
