What happens if the weather is bad?

We assess conditions in the 24h before. If it's unsafe to go ahead, we'll reschedule or fully refund. Light rain usually doesn't cancel — the mountain is beautiful under clouds too.

How do I book and pay?

Book through the online form or WhatsApp. We confirm availability within 24 hours. Payment is made after confirmation via bank transfer or MB Way — nothing is charged before we confirm.

What is the cancellation policy?

Free cancellation up to 48h before the activity, with full refund. Within 48h, the date can be changed subject to availability.

What languages are the activities run in?

Our guides run the activities in Portuguese and English. If you would prefer another language, tell us when booking and we will confirm availability.

Are the activities suitable for people with reduced mobility?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the activity. The 4x4 tours and the Douro boat tours are the most accessible, since most of the time is spent in the vehicle or on board, with short stops. Trails and night hikes involve uneven ground. Talk to us before booking and we will point you to the best option.

Do you cater for vegetarians or food allergies?

For experiences that include a meal or tasting, tell us about any dietary restrictions when booking. We confirm them in advance with the local producers and restaurants we work with.

Do I need special gear?

Just closed trekking shoes and warm layers (even in summer the mountain gets cold at night). Headlamps are provided; trekking poles can be lent on request.

Can I see the trail at night?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We use headlamps and the guide knows the route. On full moon nights we sometimes turn the lights off in open areas — it's magical.

Is there a minimum age?

Accepted Answer

From age 8, always accompanied by a responsible adult. Under 14s must be with a parent or legal guardian throughout the hike.

What if it rains on the night of the hike?

Light rain does not cancel — we share gear tips and the guide assesses the trail. In case of thunderstorms, strong wind or unsafe conditions, we offer a reschedule or a full 100% refund.

Can I bring my dog?

Accepted Answer

Yes, as long as it's sociable with people and other dogs and always on a leash. Let us know when booking so we can keep the right group pace.
