Which tour to choose
The one-hour shared cruise is the most direct introduction to the region and the usual choice for families and first-time visitors. The sunset cruise catches the golden hour over the vineyards, when the slopes come alive with colour. The private tour gives your group the boat to yourselves, on your own schedule.
What to bring and when to come
Bring a light jacket — there is always a breeze on the river, even in summer — plus a hat and sunscreen. The best light for photography is late afternoon. Harvest season, from September to October, is the most beautiful and also the busiest: book ahead.
